We’re excited to announce the new design of the highly-popular petitions pages:

The new design has the same basic look and feel, but features a new loud-and-clear “Sign The Petition” form. The form will follow visitors when they’re scrolling the page, so they always know where to sign and join the petition.

Also, the comments section now has more focus and the signatures are loading on-demand.

We’re happy to partner today with Google by adding the new +1 (“Plus One”) button to all petitions.

A small but important update to our interface: Many of you requested the ability to embed a YouTube video directly on the petition, and now it’s possible!

You will see the feature when adding or editing a petition.

Here at PetitionBuzz we always try to think about our users’ privacy (both registered and signers).

Starting today, we’re not allowing Search Engines (i.e. Google, Bing, Yahoo!, etc.) to index the signers’ names on their search results.
This makes PetitionBuzz the only online petitions website that protects its signers’ names.

It should be noted that you may still see your name on the search results over the next couple of weeks because the search engines are keeping a local temporary cache of the result.

As always, we remind you that you can ask for your signature to be deleted using this form. Requests will be processed within 1-7 business days.

                          

Today we’re releasing a new feature that allows you to collect donations on your petition.

Starting today, PetitionBuzz users can collect donations on their petitions using PayPal.

What do we offer?

  You can let the donor choose the amount to donate or to request a fixed amount:
  
• The donation widget will be loud and clear
  We wanted the donation widget to be visible as much as possible. That’s why we located it right next to the petition’s signing form.
  And what about the advertisement that was there? It’s gone!
  
• Choose the currency that fits for you
  We offer a wide selection of currencies for your donations needs: US Dollar ($), Euro (€), Pound Sterling (£), Australian Dollar ($), Canadian Dollar ($).
• No fees!
  The donations will go directly to your PayPal account. PetitionBuzz will not deduct a percentage from your donations.
• Unlimited Donations Widgets
  As long as your donations feature is active, you will be able to add the donations widget to all of your petitions (new and existing).

The donations service is available now at low price: Just $9 / €6 / £6 per month.
The service is also included for free as part of the Premium Services program.

During the last few months we got tons of requests to add more currencies, besides United States Dollar (USD), to our popular Premium Services.
This was important to our users due to currency exchange fees that were added to their bill when paying in USD from a non-USD bank account or credit card.

Over the last 2 months our team improved the site engine by making it quicker to load and sign petitions.

Also, we fixed 2 important bugs related to Twitter Connect and to an issue where some users that signed a petition at PetitionBuzz failed to see their signature added to the petition.

For your information, you can still access your petitions via the domain Petition.fm, but it is not recommended as the our servers are giving priority to the domain PetitionBuzz.com.
